The Ultimate Dual Indoor and Outdoor Fabric

Elite is our most advanced fabric. Originally developed for the Ministry of Defence, Elite offers the aesthetic fit and stretch of an indoor cover and the 100% waterproof protection and superb breathability of an outdoor cover. This triple layer fabric contains a special elastic membrane that allows the cover to ‘breathe’ while completely shielding your car from the elements, preventing the formation of mould and rust. The Elite fabric has been treated with a substantial Teflon® coat and UV stabilisers to enhance its performance*.

Like all our car covers, Elite is tailored to fit your individual make and model. The fabric comes in Grey only and has a thick, soft, fleecy inner providing extra protection for your car's paintwork. For a more personal touch, customise your cover with contrast stitching and 2D and 3D printed artwork or logos.

*Please note: Although this treatment (UV Stabilisers) helps maintain the covers appearance and prevents early discolouration, like anything that is left exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time, eventually some discolouration will inevitably occur. This mild discolouration will not in any way compromise the performance of the cover.

How our Elite fabric works...

Made up of 4 layers of protection - an outer Teflon treated coating, a tightly woven cotton, then a stretchy Moisture Vapour Permeable membrane that, all together, repels water whilst maintaining essential breathability, despite a thick non-abrasive backing layer.

100% Waterproof Guarantee

Like all Specialised Covers’ outdoor fabrics, Elite is 100% waterproof and breathable. Many car cover manufacturers claim that their products are 100% waterproof, in reality however they are only water resistant.

Breathable

Specialised Covers’ fabrics have been developed to incorporate the latest protective technology. Our Elite car covers are both 100% waterproof and breathable, this allows any trapped moisture to permeate through the cover, preventing the formation of mould and reducing the risk of rusting or corrosion.

UV Protected Fabric

Specialised Covers’ outdoor fabrics have been treated with UV inhibitors to help repel harmful UV rays, preserving the performance quality of the cover. Although this treatment helps maintain the covers appearance and prevents early discolouration, like anything that is left exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time, eventually some discolouration will inevitably occur. During extended sunny spells we advise that the cover is removed until needed. Our light grey colour option is the ideal colour for outdoor use, especially in sunnier climes. Any fading of colour will not affect the covers performance.

Not only is your cover tailored to your car, you can also personalise your Elite cover with your own custom artwork or logos; choose from either 2D or 3D variants and make your cover truly unique.

Tree Sap Resistant

Tree sap can be very difficult to remove once dry and attempting to remove hardened tree sap can result in unwanted damage to bodywork. Our tailored cover provides a second skin for your car that will not allow tree sap to penetrate through to your car’s bodywork.

Shield from Bird Droppings

Bird droppings can be hard to remove and the acidity of the droppings can corrode bodywork and ultimately tarnish you car’s appearance. A tailored cover will prevent bird droppings from making contact with your car’s bodywork, sustaining its appearance and making the task of cleaning less arduous. The cover can be cleaned using mild surfactants.

Easy Fasten Straps

Our covers are anchored to the car by high strength webbing straps and buckles. The female buckles are sewn into pockets on one side of the cover, while the male buckles are attached to straps that run under the car. Each strap should be pulled tight for extra security.
