The Specialised Covers Towing Protector is manufactured to fit caravans measuring up to 2.3m wide, with two awing rails. The Towing Protector is made from a combination of our Torrent and Tempest fabrics, both of which are 100% waterproof, durable and breathable. The Towing Protector keeps your caravan clean and guards the front your caravan during towing. This prevents paintwork and windows from being damaged by stone chips or other road debris.
Available in three colours (two tone), the protector is secured by the awning rails and a series of straps with buckles. The centre panel is made from our Tempest fabric and features a soft, fleecy backing, giving added protection for windows. The side panels are made from our Torrent fabric. This features a non-scratch inner lining that allows the front lights of your caravan to be visible during towing.

Easy Fasten Straps
Our Towing Protectors are anchored to your caravan by high strength webbing straps and buckles. The centre panel is lined with eight male buckles on each side; these connect to eight corresponding female buckles on the two strap strips that feed into the awning channels.

Innovative Fitting Solution
Owners of recent Bailey caravan models will know that their vans only have one awning channel. Fortunately, Specialised Covers have pioneered an innovative solution to attach a towing protector to a new Bailey caravan. We use industrial strength suckers with a holding weight.
Fitting a Specialised Covers’ Towing Protector couldn’t be easier. The two strap strips slide into the awning channels at each side of the caravan. Simply attach the centre panel to one strap strip and pull the centre panel across the front of the van and connect it to the remaining buckles. Finally, pull the straps tight for a secure fit.

In the unlikely event you should encounter a problem with your cover, simply contact our sales team. We will arrange for the cover to be collected for inspection and repair. Any cover deemed irreparable within 12 months of purchase will be replaced without dispute.
