With a host of new cars coming to market in 2017, manufacturers have clearly been hard at work.

Continuing with the SUV boom of 2016, the next 12 months will see the launch of several new SUV models including the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and the Kia Rio SUV - which promises to be a close rival to the Nissan Juke.

As well as brand new models, there will be some upgrades to existing cars. The UK’s most popular new car, the Ford Fiesta, will feel more premium with a touch screen display, and Honda’s Civic Type R promises more power.

Environment is also a key consideration for the big names, with Hyundai introducing the Ioniq PHEW, a car to rival Toyota’s Prius.

Other highlights include the Maserati Alfiera, with a look inspired by the Maseratis of the 1950s, and supercar Ferrari LeFerrari, recently put through its paces on The Grand Tour (and also already sold out).

From prices starting around at £9,000 to over £1 million, there are cars to suit most budgets, tastes and requirements.
