World Mental Health Day 2019: Can caravanning help with mental health?
Have you got a Specialised Cover you just can't be without? Do your friends and family comment on the quality, or its kerb (pardon the pun) appeal?
If so, we'd like to hear from you. We love sharing customer stories and really finding out what it is about our covers that you really value. Ultimately, our covers offer protection. That's what they are designed and manufactured for - and have been since 1981. But sometimes it's the little finishes touches that really makes something stand out.
The way people holiday is evolving. Where people holiday is changing.
Caravanning used to be considered a leisure pastime for older generations (especially touring caravan holidays) but over the past few years, people's perceptions have really changed as younger families, young couples and individuals have discovered caravanning.
At Specialised Covers, we take great pride in working with chosen charities, helping raising funds and offering our services at events for good causes.
Last year, we were delighted to donate a prize of a indoor car cover for the Lord Mayor's Ball in Harrogate. When the winner, Mr Ambler of Yorkshire, got in touch we were excited to hear what he thought of his cover and get his feedback on his new indoor cover.
It's essential that our covers are put to the test. We need to know that our customers are entirely satisfied with our products, or if any improvements can be made.
When Caravan Magazine's Creative and Print Manager, Kim Hampson got in touch and explained he needed a full cover to protect his caravan and was happy to put it through it's paces, we were delighted to provide a cover for his Sterling Eccles Moonstone. As a long-time caravanner, we knew Kim and his wife would give us honest feedback!
For almost 40 years we have been protecting vehicles with our car, caravan and motorbike covers and we absolutely love what we do. Customer feedback is so valuable to us as it allows us ensure our products and service are the very best they can be.
We were delighted when we read Bennetts' review of our Stormshield + motorbike cover. The reviewer, Chris Newble of Bennetts, himself a bike obsessive, put his outdoor cover through its paces and shared his thoughts....
At Specialised Covers, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail. As a company, we strive to provide a first-class service; this begins the moment a customer contacts us for the very first time, to when a cover is received, right through to our after sales service.
Our team work effortlessly to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied, at every step of their journey with us.
As you will know by now, all of our customers are invited to leave a review on Trust Pilot once they have received their car, caravan or motorbike cover. These reviews are essential to us as they allow us to ensure our service is first class, and if there are areas for improvement, we can address them immediately!
When Mr. Michael Dinnage of North Lincolnshire reviewed his Tow Pro +, we were delighted to hear how happy he was with both our service and his towing protector. And, as it's the caravan season, his feedback was even more important - especially for those people considering a Tow Pro this summer.
We recently designed and produced a very bespoke cover for Mr Mark Chapman's T@B 320 Off Road Retro Caravan. Mark, of Harefield Middlesex, was very happy with the results!
Specialised Covers: What product have you purchased from Specialised Covers, and what have you covered?Mr Chapman: We covered our T@B 320 Off Road Retro Caravan with a full storage cover.
Mark Werrell is one of the UK's top motorsport commentators, providing commentary at most major racing circuits & venues throughout the UK, as well as overseas. So, it's safe to say he knows one or two things about cars!
When Mark bought a Specialised Prestige + cover for his Ford Racing Puma, 1 of only 500 made, we wanted all the details - and photos!
Our covers offer protection against the snow, rain, harsh UV rays, as well as knocks and scrapes that inevitably happen. And, as was the case in this instance, pesky foxes!
Mr. James Coe of East Sussex shares his story with us and explains how Specialised Covers have helped protect his car from dust, as well as sly neighbourhood foxes...
We absolutely love cars and helping ensure they're protected and preserved. We were more than excited when we were asked to produce a cover for a very special and unique car...
We sometimes receive enquiries from customers who have a very special or unique vehicle. Although our database of patterns is extensive (we have over 100,000 patterns on file), sometimes a vehicle comes along that is so rare we have to create a pattern from scratch.
