Audi has revealed design sketches of its updated Quattro concept, with the new car making the original look as tame as a VW Golf. Originally shown at the 2010 Paris Motor Show sporting a 408 hp turbocharged 2.5-liter engine and based on a lightened version of the A5 it drew stares. The new Quattro Concept, by comparison, turns up the performance and design to a truly extreme level. The Quattro concept at Frankfurt will feature a hybrid powertrain, though Audi didn’t disclose which engine will be lurking under the hood. It is expected however, that it’ll be a variant of the automaker’s 4.0-liter V8 found in the RS6 and RS7 models. It is being reported that in all-electric mode, the Quattro concept can travel up to 22 miles and will have a top speed of 206 mph, accelerating to 62 mph from a standstill in about three seconds.
