The 2013 edition of the Autosport International show, held within the grand halls of Birmingham’s NEC, showcased an encouraging range of motors from 2012 and those expected to succeed in 2013. And despite a lingering economic meltdown, there was great optimism in the air as visitors and marques alike, rallied in the recent news that new
car sales increased by 11% during 2013.
It was an exciting weekend for Specialised Covers - who’d like to thank those who stopped by our stand, many of whom praising our originality on the Ferrari Photo Cover, so again thank you.
But for those who didn’t attend, don’t worry; we’ve pulled together a best of show selection.
Arial Atom
We’ll start with one of the smallest vehicles on display at the show, the Atom. Arial’s latest model to the super-nimble and extraordinarily-fast lineup.
Bentley Continental GT3
Although the GT3 was unveiled at the
2012 Paris Motor Show, there’s one question that still remains – will it get the 6-litre twin-turbo W12 or the 4-litre turbocharged V8?
Lotus Exige V6 Cup
Rumoured to rival
Porsche’s 911 GT3, Lotus have slapped a thunderous 346bhp 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine to this tiny two-seated sports car.
Radical RXC Coupe
Here’s British manufacturer Radical and it’s new RXC Coupe. With a 380bhp Ford V6 and super-slick racecar bodywork, ensuring optimum down-force, it’ll reach a menacing 175mph.
Ford Fiesta WRC
Here’s Ford’s most recent addition to their WRC lineup in the form of the M-Sport Fiesta with it’s new colour scheme.

With MG making a recent
comeback into the world of motorsport, Autosport also put on a display to please the punters with
Jason Plato’s BTCC 6 on display.
Noble M600 Carbon Sport
Leicester-based Noble showed off their popular M600 model, with it’s most recent transformation – full carbon bodywork.
