Specialised Covers recently attended the Caravan Club’s National Rally 2011 event, which was held at Sledmere House, just outside of Driffield East Yorkshire. The National Rally is the Caravan Clubs premier event with some 8,000-10,000 people attending each year.

This was the very first year we have exhibited at this particular event and promoted our range of tailor fitted covers. Despite the uncertain weather and changeable conditions throughout the weekend our company representatives were buoyed by the enthusiasm many people had for our products, with particular interest shown in our Show Cover that was present besides our stand. (see the news item ‘Show Cover Makes It’s Debut’).

Although both sales and interest in our products was strong across the event, our main goal for the weekend was to be on hand and present to take any questions and queries relating to our car covers, caravan cover and motorbike cover products. On the stand we had demonstrations of fabric breathability and waterproof resistance, as well as on-screen video illustrating our diverse and extensive portfolio of work. We were pleased to have had so many enquiries and to have cleared up a few misperceptions!

On a whole, we thoroughly enjoyed our first official experience of a Caravan Club event and greatly appreciated the response we received from their members.
