If you're a fan of Jaguar, or even if you're not, the new F-Type SVR is, claims Jaguar, the new 'all weather 200mph supercar', and one that certainly deserves consideration and respect.

  Jaguar F Type review

The SVR Coupe, at £110,000, is lighter, stiffer, faster, louder and considerably more expensive than any other F-Type to date. It’s powered by a tweaked version of Jaguar’s established 5.0-litre supercharged V8, and boasts 568bhp, 700Nm of torque and a 0-62mph time of just 3.5 seconds.

The 200mph F-Type SVR is not just a skirts-and-spoilers job from Jaguar’s burgeoning Special Vehicle Operations division.

Is it as good as it sounds on paper (or should we say the road)? Well, yes is the answer. There may be one or two things that could be improved perhaps, but overall the new F-Type SVR is 'elegantly menacing' and an 'absolute peach'.

We're certainly sold....
