The first images were released from the Paris Motor show previewing the new Land Rover Evoque Convertible Concept, so it comes as a big surprise to see it cruising the streets in London. It was caught by Twitter user Simon Truscott who managed to get the single shot of the vehicle when he stumbled upon it on the streets of London near the Tower Bridge.

The new evidence adds a big portion of substance to the production possibility of the model. It would become the first premium convertible SUV to arrive in dealerships with rumors hinting a 2014 or 2015 launch date.

The concept is based on the three-door Evoque and features a retractable soft-top roof.  Think the waiting list will for this design will be even longer than the current 6mths for the standard Evoque.

Specialised Covers supply Wing Protectors and Covers to Land Rover.  These are to protect the cars whilst the engineers are working on them and during development.  We also manufacture specially designed driving covers for the new Range Rover Vogue, which is currently in development.  They allow the cars to be driven whilst keeping the body work design hidden!! Very sneaky.  Keep you eyes peeled for the new Vogue on the roads.
