This weekend's family motoring events

Specialised Covers have created a list of exciting motoring events in your area this weekend. They may not have the glamour of the Formula 1 or Le Mans, but they’re sure to provide entertainment for all the family. So check them out and see what’s happening on the show-ground where you are.

Saturday 18-19th August – Classic Vintage and Sportscar Show

Celebrate the 'Golden Age of Motoring' as Tatton Park hosts the Classic, Vintage & Sportscar Show. The event is looking to build on the success of last year, so lets hope the weather can hold out for an anticipated variety of motors from the past eight decades.

Sunday 19th August – Burley Classic Vehicle show

Burley Cricket Club, Grange Road, Burley in Wharfedale

Probably the most popular family event in the Burley Summer Festival programme. The show, held in the grounds of the Burley Cricket Club just gets bigger and bigger - last year it attracted over 250 vehicles, and this year we anticipate an even greater number.

Attractions include:
All types of classic vehicle are welcome to enter - cars, commercials, vans, military vehicles, traction engines, buses, motorcycles and scooters.

There are various awards for the best entries, with the Visitors Choice Trophy the most prized.

Saturday 18-19th August - West Wales Motorcycle Show

Now in its 6th year, the show has developed into a two-day event held on the United Counties Showground at Carmarthen, taking advantage of the extensive spaces & buildings available for stunt displays, trade stands, exhibition vehicles, camping, catering, craft stalls, children’s corner, and of course, visitor parking.
