There are many products on the market that will cover and protect your caravan. Many use similar materials and will offer much the same protection. There are some subtle, albeit important, differences between these fabrics such as the breathability of the fabric and whether the material is fully 'waterproof' or just 'water-resistant'. Why do I need a fully tailored cover for my Caravan?
The simple answer is you don’t. Your caravan can get wet and it will dry, dust and dirt will wash off if you clean it overtime before you head off for the weekend and if you’re fortunate enough and we have mild weekends, your caravan won't suffer the often detrimental effects of frost damage. Many seemingly comparative products do exactly what they set out to do, however the overwhelming majority are mass produced overseas, semi-tailored by design and are manufactured using cheaper, sub-standard fabrics which is fundamentally how the manufacturers and retailers are able to sell these covers at up to 60% cheaper than a bespoke and fully tailor fitted caravan covers.
Specialised Covers do not offer semi-fit caravan covers. The principle is much the same with fashion. A leading fashion design house wouldn’t offer an ill-fitting suit just to 'compete' with more affordable high street alternatives.
