Towing Car Bra
A fully tailored protective solution for those with a Motorhome who want to safeguard the front of their vehicle when towing an additional car with them. Showerproof, Breathable & Made from our Elite fabric, our towing Car Bra gives you complete stone chip protection with a fully tailored fit and a soft inner to safeguard paint-work.
Fit
The cover secures under the bonnet and around the wheel arches with access points for your electric hook up, kill switch and the towing eyes. As all hook up system are different, we will require a photograph of the front of your car so we are able to ensure the correct access points are provided.
Shower Proof
One Elite material made up of a Bi laminate high performance polyester. A tightly woven stretchy luxury fabric with a shower proof film to shield from the rain and a nonabrasive inner to protect the paintwork. The fabrics Teflon coating also allows you to use this cover periodically outside as the showers will run off.
Fully Tailored
Our covers are uniquely crafted for your vehicle, custom-made to fit its specific make, model, and year.
Patterning Service
While we can create your Towing Car Bra from customer supplied dimensions, we also offer a bespoke patterning service at an additional charge if you don’t want to measure up yourself or if you require something completely bespoke. The cost of this is dependent on multiple factors so please do get in touch with our customer service team if you think this might be something you may require.
Product Information
Car Bra Dimensions Sheet
We can produce you Car Bar Cover from a dimensions sheet provided by our customer service team. This is so we confirm the location of your tow bar fixings and electric hook up point. We will need an image of the front of your vehicle, we can then provide you with a tailored dimensions sheet to show you which measurements we will require.
A Frame Securing Openings
The fully tailored covers have access for your kill switch, hook up points and power plug in. When ordering please supply an image of the front of your car and if the power supply is connected under the bonnet or direct to a socket.
Towing Car Bra Fitting
The Car Bra will fit tightly around the front lower section of your car securing under the bonnet, around the wheel arches and is elasticated around the bottom to ensure the best fit for travelling. All our covers are tailor made so will fit specifically for your make and model of tow car.
Electrical Hook Up
An allowance will be made for the electric plug to be secured when the cover is fitted. This will depend on the location of your socket or if the power is connected under the bonnet.
Secures To The Wheel Arch
Securing elasticated clips ensure the cover is fixed to the car, hooking onto the wheel arch. The number and location of the clips will be dependent on the model of car.
Cover Maintenance
Because of the nature of our outdoor materials, the covers need to be cleaned using a soft cloth and warm water. Do not machine wash this cover and please allow to dry naturally. No tumble dryer or ironing.

Due to increasing temperatures in the UK we can no longer guarantee the fabrics performance if left on in temperatures exceeding 25 degrees celsius. The ambient air temperature is not reflected in the cover temperature as these will be significantly higher if left in direct sunlight and can be almost double that of the air temperature. With towing covers the movement of the air over the caravan when in transit will help to regulate the temperature and will be fit for purpose when used outside the UK. The issue may arise when left on for storage which the towing covers are not designed for. Therefore please note covers should be removed to prevent damage to the cover fabric which will reduce the covers life span if the temperatures are above 25 degrees celsius . Higher UV stable fabrics are available on request and incur additional costs per cover. If a cover has been left out in extreme temperatures it will not be covered under its warranty and can be tested to confirm heat damage has occurred.
The covers are manufactured in a unique multi-layered fabric called Torrent designed to protect vehicles from the harmful effects of direct sunlight, dirt, abrasion and damp weather. Torrent is fully waterproof (not water resistant which will allow water to penetrate) and breathable by having a directional membrane sandwiched in between the fabric layers. This innovative fabric is EXCLUSIVELY available to Specialised Covers only! The fabric is guaranteed for 1 years when used in the UK. Usage outside the UK will result in the guarantee being null and void.

For a unique vehicles there may be a patterning charge on top of the cover cost but that can be confirmed by the team once they have assessed the enquiry. The cover comes with the Specialised Covers logo as standard however if you would like to customise your cover with a company logo or car marque please select the option in the drop down.
The Elite Towing covers made in Velcrotex are sponge wash only and cannot be washed in a machine. The outer can be wiped down with a sponge or cloth and the inner foam should be rinsed with warm water if it becomes very dirty.
