We love a barking mad supercar proposal here at Specialised Covers and perhaps the most radical we've heard of in recent times is the Trion Nemesis. It is just a proposal at this stage and as such all claims are yet to be substantiated but the boasts made by the California based auto company are brave indeed.  They must be fairly confident of their claims too because they are taking orders already for production in 2016. There are 4 specs of the Trion Nemesis to be available ranging from the oh-so-tame 1000 hp Nemesis E, up to the off the scale Nemesis RR, which Trion claim will hit 2000 hp. That's about twice the horsepower of the world conquering Bugatti Veyron. And they aren't stopping there. The proposed top speed is 270+ and that would put the Trion Nemesis firmly in the arena to challenge both the Koenigsegg One:1 and the Hennessey Venom GT. This is the top of the range of four cars planned and has the greatest claims attached to it. we've already mentioned the 2000 hp and 270+ mph.  This will be delivered by a twin turbo V8 of yet unspecified size, although expected to be 9 litre and be capable of 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.  The Nemesis will be hand built in California and Trion are proclaiming an 'ultra luxury, high performance line of vehicles designed around the driver'. As well as touch-screen flat panel controls to make the most of the cockpit space, they are promising that it will easily accommodate drivers up to 7 feet tall, so it should be popular with NBA stars with money to burn and a certain Mr. Clarkson when he gets his hands on it and tests his theory that the Americans are incapable of producing a car that goes around corners... The RR will have fully customisable driver settings and comes with the pre-defined 'Predator Mode' which modifies interior lighting, lowers the ride height, toughens up the suspension and increases the rev limits. All this and you can get your golf clubs in the boot.
