This is where most supercars spend most of their time, and where the most overlooked damage happens.
A garage or storage unit isn’t a neutral environment. Dust settles continuously on paintwork and acts as a fine abrasive over time. Other vehicles, equipment, storage items and general foot traffic create impact risks. Workshop debris, metal filings, wood dust, overspray, can contaminate surfaces in ways that aren’t immediately visible. And if the cover isn’t breathable, moisture trapped beneath it creates conditions for corrosion and finish degradation even in a covered space.
An indoor cover for a supercar needs to do several things simultaneously: fit precisely enough that it doesn’t shift and rub, use a fabric that’s soft enough against the paintwork that contact doesn’t cause damage, breathe enough to prevent moisture accumulation, and look appropriate for a car at this level.
