After a short Christmas break, Specialised Covers is now back open for 2026.
As the factory comes back to life and new projects begin, it feels like the perfect moment to pause and reflect on the year just gone.
2025 was a busy and rewarding year for our team, one that saw continued development across our ranges, new industries supported, and ongoing investment in how we design and manufacture tailored protection solutions. Before we look ahead to what’s next, here’s a look back at some of the key moments that defined 2025 at Specialised Covers.
2025 Highlights
Kicking Off the Year
January marked the start of 2025 with renewed energy in the Factory. The team focused on production, preparing tailored car, caravan, and specialist covers for the months ahead. It was a month of planning, refining patterns, and ensuring every project, from bespoke creations to standard ranges, met our high standards. A perfect time to capture the craftsmanship and precision that defines Specialised Covers.
Bespoke Body Protection Projects
February was a month focused on bespoke body protection solutions. One highlight was a tailored kit for RBW, supporting their classic EV vehicles, demonstrating how our expertise in precision patterning and high-quality fabrics can protect unique and high-value cars during storage, transport, and workshop use.
Launch of Our New Website
March saw the launch of our new Specialised Covers website. Designed to improve usability and better showcase our growing range of tailored solutions, the new platform made it easier for customers across all sectors to explore our products, capabilities, and expertise.
Expanding Bespoke & Specialist Solutions
April highlighted the versatility of our manufacturing expertise, with bespoke projects across a range of applications. From tailored boat covers to specialist protective solutions, our cut-and-sew capabilities allowed us to create precise, high-quality covers for one-off requirements or small production runs, demonstrating how we adapt to meet complex customer needs beyond standard product ranges.
Bespoke Garden Furniture Covers
May showcased our innovative approach to creating tailored protection beyond vehicles. Using 3D scanning technology, we designed and manufactured bespoke garden furniture covers, ensuring precise fits and high-quality protection in preparation for the winter months. This project highlighted how our cut-and-sew expertise and advanced patterning techniques can be applied to a wide range of bespoke applications.
New Partnerships & Precision Projects
June was all about collaboration and innovation. We teamed up with Atkinson Vos, specialists in Mercedes Unimogs, to develop a precision-engineered canopy cover for their rear frameworks. This project showcased our ability to deliver bespoke, high-quality protection tailored to complex engineering requirements, strengthening our reputation for precision and versatility across specialist vehicles.
Long-Standing Partnerships & Bespoke Luxury
July highlighted the value of enduring collaborations. We worked with Bentley Motors Mulliner, a long-standing partner, to create a new premium bespoke indoor silhouette cover for their GT Speed models. Built on shared values of British craftsmanship and luxury, our 3D team collaborated closely with Bentley to capture every distinctive design feature, ensuring the cover met the exacting standards expected of the marque.
European Focus & Brand Expansion
August centred on expanding our European Caravan offering. Our design team gathered new patterns for Towing Covers and model data, strengthening support for additional caravan brands and improving accessibility for customers both in the UK and across Europe. This work helped ensure our tailored covers met the needs of a broader range of vehicles, while continuing to deliver the high-quality fit and protection we’re known for.
Events & Industry Engagement
September was a busy month for hands-on collaborations and showcasing our expertise in protective solutions. A highlight was the Concours of Elegance car show, where we supplied our tailored overnight covers to protect the prestigious vehicles. Working closely with the show organisers, we ensured each car remained safe and pristine, reinforcing our ongoing relationships and trusted reputation within the automotive events community.
Motorhome & Caravan Show 2025
Following a busy September, October was a standout month with the Motorhome & Caravan Show at the NEC. We showcased our full range of towing and storage covers, highlighted exclusive show offers, and supported customers preparing their caravans and motorhomes for winter storage. The event offered another great opportunity to demonstrate our expertise, connect with our community, and reinforce the value of tailored protection solutions.
Tailored Solutions for Defence
November was dedicated to showcasing our expertise in the defence sector. From bespoke camouflage systems to precision covers for vehicles, equipment, and industrial applications, we highlighted how our tailored solutions protect assets in the most demanding environments. Our attendance at the Make UK Defence Summit 2025 reinforced Specialised Covers’ reputation as a trusted UK manufacturer, delivering high-performance, reliable protection for defence organisations. As the year drew to a close, December focused on seasonal protection for vehicles, caravans, and equipment ahead of the winter months. Tailored indoor and outdoor covers ensured assets were safeguarded from frost, dust, and moisture, while the workshop completed final bespoke projects before the Christmas shutdown. It was also a moment to reflect on a productive year, celebrate achievements, and prepare for an exciting 2026.
