Bespoke Protective Covers for EV Charging Infrastructure

EVCharge Live UK 2026 takes place at the NEC Birmingham, Hall 6, from 22–24 September — and two members of our design team will be attending.

The UK’s premier electric vehicle charging infrastructure exhibition brings together over 100 global exhibitors, 150+ expert speakers and the full spectrum of the EV charging supply chain — from charge point operators and fleet managers to local authorities, grid specialists and infrastructure investors. Co-located with Solar & Storage Live UK, it’s the most comprehensive gathering of the UK clean energy and EV charging sector under one roof.

We’ll be there as guests. And if you’re attending, we’d welcome the conversation.

What We Do in the EV Charging Sector

EV charging infrastructure represents a significant and growing capital investment, and it’s almost entirely deployed outdoors, permanently exposed to the UK weather, in public-facing locations where appearance matters as much as function.

What it rarely has is proper protection.

Charging units sit in car parks, forecourts and retail sites, year-round, in conditions that affect their exterior finish, their appearance on site and ultimately the impression they make on the drivers and businesses they’re supposed to be serving. Generic covers don’t fit properly. Off-the-shelf solutions don’t account for the specific geometry of individual charger models. And in a sector where brand presentation is increasingly important, particularly as charge point operators roll out co-branded networks across multiple sites — a poorly fitting or plain cover isn’t good enough.

We manufacture bespoke protective covers for EV charging infrastructure. Every cover is pattern-cut to the specific shape of the charging unit, not approximated from a standard size. The result is a cover that fits, looks right, and does the job it’s supposed to do.

Two Live Projects

Already in the Field

We’re not new to this sector. We’ve already manufactured covers for two live charge point operators, both of which demonstrate what bespoke cover production can deliver in different ways.

RAW Charging — We produced tailored protective covers for RAW Charging’s rapid charging units, pattern-cut to the specific shape of each pedestal and now in active use across multiple RAW Charging locations throughout the UK. Every unit covered consistently, to the same standard, regardless of site.

TSG — Plenitude + beCharge — For TSG, we manufactured covers with co-branded printed panels for the Plenitude and beCharge charge point brands. Branding was built directly into the cover during manufacture — printed logo panels and a “Charging Soon” panel, precisely placed and finished to a standard suitable for public-facing sites. The cover doesn’t just protect the unit before go-live: it does a marketing job on site, signalling to the public that a charger is coming.

Two different briefs. Two different functions for a cover to serve. Both delivered from our facility in Shipley, West Yorkshire.

What We Can Offer

Our process is straightforward — and designed to work with charge point operators, infrastructure deployers and site owners at any scale:

Measure and pattern — We work from your unit’s actual dimensions to cut a pattern specific to its shape, including awkward or irregular forms. Patterns can be created using 3D scanning software or our traditional hand patterning process.

Brand and print — Logos, taglines or messaging can be printed and worked into panels during manufacture, to your brand’s exact colours.

Fabricate and finish — Covers are cut, sewn and finished at our Shipley facility, by hand or using CNC cutting machinery, from single prototype runs through to multi-unit production.

Fit and deploy — Covers are supplied ready to fit on site, sized and shaped to your equipment from the outset.

From a single prototype to a network rollout — the process and the standard are the same.

Find Us at EVCharge Live

Two members of our design team will be attending EVCharge Live UK on Tuesday 22nd September

We’re attending as guests rather than exhibitors, but we’re very happy to meet, talk through a requirement or simply introduce ourselves. If you’re working in EV charging infrastructure and you have a cover challenge — or you’ve never considered bespoke protection for your units before — we’d love to start the conversation.
