In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Please be aware if your cover is being shipped to outside the UK you will be responsible for paying the customs duty yourself via the courier. Your courier will confirm the value with you once the cover has been received please consider this before placing your order.

Guarantees, Returns & Repairs
Due to the tailored and bespoke nature of our products we request that all covers are tried on and fitted within 6mths of purchase. Any issues with fit must be reported in this time for us to amend the cover.
All tailored covers, once cut cannot be refunded or returned, we will make all reasonable effect to resolve any issue that may occur. As these covers are sold as bespoke items the distance selling act does not apply.
Refunds are only available on universal items, when notified 14 days from receiving the item.

Our fabrics have all been tested under British standards. Covers used outside of the UK are not covered by our Manufacturers Warranty.
Fabrics and Warranties are not valid when a product is purchased second hand or has been modified/repaired by a third party.
Towing Protectors must only be used for towing purposes; they are not intended as storage covers. A Towing Protector used for storage purposes will invalidate the Warranty and Specialised Covers will not be responsible for issues with the cover due to misuse.
Due to increasing temperatures in the UK we can no longer guarantee the fabrics performance if left on in temperatures exceeding 25 degrees celsius. The ambient air temperature is not reflected in the cover temperature as these will be significantly higher if left in direct sunlight and can be almost double that of the air temperature.
Therefore please note covers should be removed to prevent damage to the cover fabric which will reduce the covers life span if the temperatures are above 25 degrees celsius . Higher UV stable fabrics are available on request and incur additional costs per cover. If a cover has been left out in extreme temperatures it will not be covered under its warranty and can be tested to confirm heat damage has occurred.
The ManufacturersWarranty includes faults that can occur due to a manufacturing error. Examples include: faulty buckles/straps, faults with seams (causing the cover to leak), access points being in the wrong location.
Any manufacturing fault must be reported to Specialised Covers within a year. If a manufacturing fault is reported AFTER a year, then a cover would NOT be covered for a Warranty repair.
Fabric Guarantees cover:
- Failed performance of fabric (such as water leaking through the fabric due to a fabric fault)
- Delamination of the fabric (where the layers of fabric start to separate therefore fabric not fit for purpose)
Fabric Guarantees DO NOT cover
- Weather damage
- Stone chippings
- Sharp objects protruding through the fabric (such as bike racks/aerials)
- Animal/rodent scratches or bites
- Wear and tear
- Or any 3rd party damage
COVER FIT ISSUES
Please note that if a cover is returned due to a percieved fit issue and we are able to fit the cover with no issues, the error is due to the fitting instuctions not being followed correctly or other factors beyond our control. In these situations the customer will be charged for the collection and re delivery of the product. This will be a standard charge of £25 for collection and return of the cover within mainland UK.
Due to the nature of the products we manufacture, we must ensure the factory and machinery remains clean at all times. Used covers can damage machinery; therefore we cannot risk bringing dirty products into the factory.
Any cover returned for repair MUST be clean and dry for us to complete the repair. Dirty covers will not be accepted and will be returned at cost to the customer.
Once a cover has passed its Warranty/Fabric Guarantee we are unable to offer repairs. If a cover has evidence of 3rd party damage (not covered by the Warranty/Guarantee), is within its Warranty/Guarantee period and the cover is clean and in good condition, a repair can be made at a cost to the customer. The cost for this will be quoted on a case by case basis.
Specialised Covers DO NOT offer an alteration service. A cover cannot be altered due to a change of vehicle or request for a caravan solar panel, once the cover has been manufactured.
