Returning to Germany to Expand Our European Caravan Cover Range
Following our visit to Germany last summer, the Specialised Covers team has once again been on the road in Europe, this time returning to test fit many of the caravan cover patterns we created during our previous trip.
Spending the week working closely with our partners in Germany, the team revisited our friends at Caravan Centre Bocholt and De Greeffs to continue expanding our tailored cover range for European caravans.
These visits allow us to physically test fit towing covers on a wide variety of caravans, ensuring every pattern meets the precise fit and quality standards our customers expect.

Testing Fit Across a Wide Range of European Caravans
With access to a large selection of European caravan brands, the trip provided an ideal opportunity to test our newly developed patterns across a variety of models. By fitting covers directly to the caravans themselves, our team can check: overall fit and alignment, window positioning, panel tension and shaping, fixing points and light placements.
This hands-on process ensures that every towing cover we produce offers the secure, tailored fit that helps protect caravans during travel.
Alongside testing towing cover patterns, the team also used our 3D scanning equipment to capture additional measurements for full caravan storage covers. These precise digital measurements allow us to develop accurate patterns for caravans that previously weren’t available within our system.

Designed for the Best Possible Fit
All of our caravan towing covers are designed to follow the natural contours of each caravan model for a secure and stable fit during travel. Depending on the caravan’s design, the fixing method may vary slightly:

Caravans with two open awning channels, such as some KABE models, allow the cover to secure using awning tape on both sides.

Caravans with a single open awning channel use awning tape on one side, with secure press-stud poppers on the opposite side to ensure the cover fits safely and correctly.
Because most European caravan models only have one open awning channel they are best suited to our Tow Pro, Tow Pro+, or Tow Pro Elite towing covers, which are engineered to work securely with the 2nd style of fixing.
