It's the time of the year again when you start spotting all those new registration plates on the road. It's also a time for more exciting new car launches, including the stunning, yet rather expensive Bugatti Chiron (can we split the £1.9 million over a few credit cards please??) and the Honda NSX, both coming out this autumn.

2016 has already seen the launch of some pretty impressive vehicles and here we look at a few of shining stars of the year so far...

The DB11, which replaces the DB9 has a 5.2 litre twin-turbo V12, which gives 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 200mph. The rear wheels are driven through an eight-speed ZF auto box. Auto Express gave the car a 5 out of 5, so you know it's good!

Priced at around £250,000 the Bentley Mulsanne is almost as luxurious as you get, with back seat passengers offered an increased 250mm legroom and airline reclining chairs as standard.
